A postdoctoral position is available in Dr. Xiaoqian Chai’s Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience Lab at the Montreal Neurological Institute at McGill University, Canada. Our research program is focused on how brain development supports learning and memory from children to adults. We use brain imaging tools (fMRI, DTI, resting-state fMRI) to understand how maturation of large-scale brain networks relates to learning and memory development. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their own research questions within the area of brain and cognitive development.
The ideal candidate will have experience in cognitive neuroscience, strong quantitative skills, and an interest in working with children. Expertise with fMRI is strongly preferred. Candidates with other relevant experience (EEG/TMS/cognitive development) will be considered. A PhD in a related field such as neuroscience, biomedical engineering, psychology, or cognitive sciences is required.
Applicants should submit a letter of interest, CV, brief research statement, relevant publications, and contact details for two academic references to firstname.lastname@example.org, Lab website: http://chailab.org
