Duties and Responsibilities

Applications are invited for a Professor /Associate Professor and Honorary Consultant in Haemato-Oncology, from individuals with an exceptional international research profile in relation to career stage.

The postholder will be expected to lead a haemato-oncology research group with an established track record and successful additional grant applications at an independent level. There are opportunities to develop an educational programme. This position will form an important part of the wider UCLH/UCL Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) portfolio, and the Cancer Research UK Centre at UCL.

We are seeking a candidate with an established track record in grant funding and high-quality publications whose research agenda will attract broad-ranging high-level collaborations within the wide community of UCL and beyond, and thereby strengthen UCL’s reputation internationally as a leader in the field.

Key Requirements

The successful candidate is expected to be a Clinical Professor/Associate Professor of Haematology with an interest in haemato-oncology. The post is open to any sub-specialisation within haemato-oncology but consideration will be given to balancing the current needs of the Clinical Department with securing the highest calibre of academic activity. A candidate will have an excellent track record of high-impact peer reviewed publications and research funding and will contribute to all aspect of the academic life of the Institute, the Faculty and the College.
