Assistant Professor of Drug Delivery Research

 


An Assistant Professor position at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine is open for the development of research in Drug Delivery. The ideal applicant will have an international reputation in research in Drug Delivery within the School’s research programme in Health Technologies, Nano-medicine and Bioengineering. Reporting to the Vice Dean, Research and Dean, the appointee is expected to undertake high quality research in drug delivery in line with the strategy of the School, and obtain research funding and supervise research staff and students. The appointee will also be expected to contribute to medical and graduate student learning. 

 

Person Specification:

 

·         PhD degree

·         Significant experience and outstanding record of research and teaching, with a high level of scientific achievement, productivity and impact in the field of drug delivery research

·         Hands-on experience/Good understanding of relevant laboratory experiments will be an added advantage

·         Proven track record in internationally competitive research evidenced by high impact peer-reviewed publications

·         Ability to work in and develop teams and to create networks at both a national and international level

·         Understanding of the academic and administrative needs of internationally recognised universities
