W2 professorship for Tumorimmunology
Applicants (male/female) should have a nationally and internationally recognized research profile in Zumorimmunology with the proven capacity to establish and maintain an international competitive research program. The development of translational research concepts that shall bridge basic research in Tumorimmunology with clinical research represents a main topic of the postion.
The integration of the W2 professorship into the overall concept of the Center for Integrated Oncology (CIO) and the Cluster of Excellence “ImmunoSensation” should strengthen the interface between Hematology/Oncology and immunology at the University of Bonn. Experience in cell therapies is desired.
The W2 professorship must fully represent the area of Tumorimmunology in the Department of Hematology and Oncology (Medizinische Klinik III) with regard to research and teaching. In addition, the application can be combined with an attending position in the Department of Hematology and Oncology based on the clinical qualifications.
This position is filled in accordance with § 36 North Rhine-Westphalian Law on Universities, and requires the German grade of Habilitation or comparable academic achievements.
