Reference No. EE 2019/15The Research Group Generative Manufacturing Processesis looking for Postdoctoral Scientist (m/f/d) in the field of Physics, Chemistry, Materials Sciences or Engineering TasksFabrication and characterization of ink-jet printed and solution-processed hybrid opto-electronic thin-film device, in particular light-emitting hybrid thin-film thin film devicesAssisting in the construction of the laboratory infrastructure for the production and characterization of electronic inks and printed component structuresDevelopment of industrial scale printing processes, documentation and presentation of resultsSupport in the application of national and international research grantsPresentation and publication of results at (inter-)national conferences and meetings Support of internal and external users of joint labCo-supervision of Master and Doctoral studentsRequirementsCompleted PhD in the field of Physics, Chemistry, Materials Sciences or Engineering (with very good degree)Relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:Fabrication of printed components and component structures by means of inkjet printing including experience in ink formulation and characterization Fabrication and characterization of optoelectronic thin-film components (OLEDs, Hybrid LEDs, solar cells (organic or hybrid) or of related other components)Experience in the field of setting up characterization and measurement equipmentExperience in the implementation of applied research projects and in applying for research project grants Ability to work interdisciplinarily and to prepare English-language publications on your own responsibilityVery good publication record in the field of relevance Enthusiasm, experimental skills and team-oriented work ethicVery good English language skills Further Information Prof. Dr. Emil List-Kratochvil+49 30 2093 - 7697emil.list-kratochvil@helmholtz-berlin.de Closing Date: 04.04.2019 apply
