The MRC Cancer Unit (MRC CU) is a University Department situated on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus. It provides an outstanding environment for cancer research, supporting some 10 research groups and ~150 bench scientists. The successful candidate will join Dr Christian Frezza’s research group https://www.mrc-cu.cam.ac.uk/research/Christian-frezza-folder

The post holder will play a key role in a programme of research on genetically engineered mouse models of cancer in a leading Cambridge University laboratory, taking responsibility for all aspects of breeding and colony maintenance, and liaising with scientific colleagues to ensure the collection of samples and delivery of results for a portfolio of research projects. S/he will have the opportunity to contribute to on-going research, learn new techniques, and work closely with scientists and clinicians researching cancer.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available until 28 February 2024 in the first instance.
