The Department of Melanoma Medical Oncology as part of the Division of Cancer Medicine seeks a research faculty member at the Assistant/Associate Professor, Term Tenure Track level to join its full-time faculty. This opportunity provides an unmatched setting for the applicant with strong research interests in the areas of Melanoma Research and Immunology. The selected applicant should have expertise in applied basic and translational research, which may include T cell metabolism, immune evasion, antigen processing and presentation, cancer vaccines, cell therapy, and immune cell engineering. The candidate will be responsible for participating in innovative research programs providing balance and integrated educational programs for fellows, residents and students, serving on institutional committees, providing peer review, and serving as a role model to the laboratory technical staff. This position collaborates and should integrate with colleagues in Surgical Oncology, Pathology, Dermatology and other disease departments throughout the institution.
