Job Title: Research Associate in Glycosciences

Salary: £37,904 – £45,547 per annum

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral Research Associate to join the Glycosciences Laboratory, directed by Professor Ten Feizi, at the Hammersmith Campus of Imperial College.
The post is funded by BBSRC and is available to study by the NGL-based glycan array and allied approaches, a library of novel synthetic glycans for their recognition by diverse carbohydrate-recognition systems.
Applicants should hold a PhD or equivalent qualification and have experience in biochemistry, carbohydrate chemistry or glycobiology, ideally with hands-on experience in glycan separation by chromatographic methodologies. Previous experience in immunochemistry, glycan microarray and glycan mass spectrometric technologies is advantageous.
The post is full-time and fixed-term until 31 August 2020.
