Your Job:Further development of a high-throughput platform for electrocatalyst synthesis and characterization Combinatorial discovery of fuel cell and water electrolysis electrocatalyst Further development of new coupled electrochemical / non-electrochemical techniques Close cooperation with other teams in the Electrocatalysis unit as well as internal and external project partners Presentation of project results at international conferences Regular organization and participation in project meetings Scientific and administrative project coordination Support in the preparation of scientific project reports Support in the supervision of PhD students
Your Profile:Graduate of a university with excellent academic degree and subsequent doctorate in Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Material Science or a relevant discipline Previous experience in electrochemistry is desirable but not mandatory. We encourage applications from candidates with a strong experience in combinatorial methods (in particular in chemistry) and/or development of coupled electrochemical/non-electrochemical Strong interest in pursuing research in a multidisciplinary project related to development of a high-throughput platform in electrocatalysis research, in particular for fuel cells Excellent organizational skills Ability to show initiative and work independently Excellent cooperation and communication skills and ability to work as part of a team and ability to lead a team Excellent skills in spoken and written English
