The Cambridge BHF Centre of Research Excellence (BHF CRE) brings together a wide range of cardiovascular research groups across the University of Cambridge and affiliated institutions including the Wellcome Sanger Institute. We are now inviting applications for non-clinical career development fellowships. These 2-year fellowships are available for outstanding postdoctoral researchers in basic biomedical science or disciplines outside traditional biological science working at the interfaces of disciplines, particularly where adoption of techniques outside cardiovascular science can accelerate basic and translational research.

The award will include full salary and £15K pa towards other costs. Individuals will be supported to apply for additional funding and become competitive for external Intermediate Research Fellowships by the end of their Fellowship.

Successful applicants will have a strong record of research and its communication in a relevant subject. The post holders will also need to be able to work independently as well as in active collaboration with multi-disciplinary partners.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 2 years in the first instance.
