Salary: Grade 7: £32,236 - £39,609 p.a.
We have an excellent opportunity for a Research Facilitator to provide support to the CRUK Oxford Centre Team in its grant writing and funder reporting activity for its portfolio of research infrastructure and training awards. The role will involve a range of tasks including identifying funding opportunities, pre-award administration maintaining accurate records of research activity and research outcomes, and supporting mid- and post-award funder reporting. This is an exciting and varied role requiring the postholder to use their scientific background and be involved with researchers at the cutting edge of cancer research.
You will have an Msc, or equivalent qualification, in a biomedical discipline and experience of research facilitation and/or management. You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with all colleagues, and an understanding of research in the medical sciences combined with excellent administrative abilities. The capacity to prioritise complex and competing demands in a busy but rewarding working environment is also important to the role.
This is a full-time post available for 2 years.
