The active research unit 'Ocean Ecosystem Biology' of Prof. Alexandra Z. Worden seeks a
starting as soon as possible. You will be part of an international team. The group develops and implements methods and technologies for sea-going oceanography, including innovations in genomic, metagenomic and transcriptomic approaches that aim to understand ocean algae and their ecosystem roles. The team operates in English language.

The position is limited to two years. The aim is to extend the employment contract. The salary depends on qualification and could be up to the class E8 TVöD-Bund of the German tariff for public employees. This is a part-time position according to 50% of a full-time equivalent. The position cannot be split.
