The MRC London Institute of Medical Sciences (LMS) is a leading international research institute located in west London at the Hammersmith Campus of Imperial College London. The Institute is renowned for its pioneering fundamental and clinical research and for its strong record in training and mentoring the next generation of interdisciplinary scientists. The LMS is part of a new and exciting White City research ecosystem promoting direct links with Chemistry, Bioengineering and the Innovation Hub of Imperial College London.
We are recruiting research leaders to complement the research themes of the Quantitative Biology and Epigenetics sections of the Institute, including:
Quantitative Biology; quantitative, systems level analysis of defined biological problems; machine learning/AI; genomic regulation; innovative imaging and image analysis; experimental and computational biology across scales; biophysics of chromatin or cells and tissues; bridging disease phenotypes or variation with single molecule work
Epigenetics; Epigenetic control of developmental potency; chromatin biochemistry, core transcriptional regulation and enhancer biology; gene regulatory landscapes; cross talk between epigenetics and metabolism
Research group leaders will be appointed at Career Development, Tenure Track or Programme Leader (tenured) levels, depending on career stage. Salary and support package depend on career stage and experience.
