A Postdoctoral Fellowship is available at the Emory Vaccine Center and Yerkes National Primate Research Center in the Division of Microbiology and Immunology. The project will test cutting edge immunotherapeutics in the rhesus macaque/SIV model of HIV functional cure. We are seeking a highly motivated candidate to join a dynamic, productive research environment focused on HIV cure, vaccinology and immunogenomics. The candidate will have the opportunity to receive training and conduct research in HIV immunology, immunogenomics (single-cell genomics, immune repertoire analyses) and join a multidisciplinary team consisting of immunologists, virologists, clinicians and bioinformaticists.
Applicants should be recent graduates of a Ph.D. degree in Immunology or a related discipline obtained within the past two years. Strong writing, speaking and presentation skills are also important.
• PhD in Immunology or related field.
• Strong background in flow cytometry preferred.
• Training in molecular biology not required but a plus.
