The Research Training Group 1873 “Pharmacology of 7TM-receptors and downstream signaling pathways” funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG), offers PhD positions (m/f/d) (65 %) starting October 2019.
The positions are determined for three years. The Research Training Group 1873 (RTG 1873) is investigating pharmacologically relevant signaling pathways. The following disciplines are represented: pharmacology, physiology, pharmaceutical biology, pharmaceutical/medicinal chemistry, immunology, and metabolism. The RTG 1873 provides a structured, three year English language training program in an interdisciplinary and international research environment. A special emphasis lies on the International Exchange Program.
We are looking for highly motivated students with a recent excellent university degree (Master of Science or German State-Examination in Pharmacy or in Medicine).
Strong interest in scientific research and above-average motivation to manage the PhD project are expected. Very good English language skills are a prerequisite to join the English language PhD program.
We offer salary according to the German salary scale TV-L E13, Jobticket and supplementary benefits in the public sector (pension plan according to VBL).
