Job description:

You will be responsible to develop a generic concept to transfer samples between different analytical techniques available within the Helmholtz User Facility "KNMF". This also includes a concept for data and information management to fulfill the FAIR principles for the correlative characterization. In addition, you will supervise a doctoral candidate (m/f/d) and present the results in scientific journals and at international conferences.

You have a university degree (Diplom (Uni) / Master) in the field of physics, chemistry or materials science with a completed doctorate. In addition, you have basic material science knowledge, good physics knowledge and several years of practical experience in the field of microscopy and spectroscopy for solid-state analysis, in particular in electron microscopy and surface analysis, as well as analytical skills for solving physical and technical issues. Good command of spoken and written English, basic German knowledge as well as an interest in IT and chemical processing complete your profile. Experience in data management and data processing is desirable.

Salary

Salary category 13, depending on the fulfillment of professional and personal requirements.
