£33,199 – £37,345 per annumA 3-year post-doctoral position (one of two posts) is available in Bristol’s CamoLab funded by BBSRC grant BB/S00873X/1 “Concealing 3D objects”. The overarching aim is to develop a computational toolkit, and research pipeline, that can determine the best (or worst) camouflage for any object in any environment for any viewer (different species or, indeed, machine vision). The other Senior Research Associate will take primary responsibility for computational analysis, using deep neural networks; the post described here will take the lead on collecting photographic databases and performing experiments in the field and lab.
