Methodological challenges include in particular the identification of suitable indicators and the provision of data as well as the connection to sustainability goals. The aim is to apply database-driven methods and supplement them with qualitative approaches. Your tasks (preferably as part of a PhD) will essentially include the following:Development and application of social indicators for the evaluation of process chains in the context of the social Life Cycle Assessment Put in context with methods for Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment Interdisciplinary work with colleagues from the fields of technology, economics and environment Presentation of your scientific results at national and international conferences
Your Profile:Completed scientific university degree in the field of social or political sciences with a focus on sustainability Good knowledge of qualitative and quantitative methods of social research Knowledge of social Life Cycle Assessment (s-LCA) or sustainability research are desirable A good basic understanding of mathematics and technology Ability to acquire third-party funding projects Very good knowledge of written and spoken English Ability to work in a team, commitment and the ability to work under pressure High flexibility and willingness to carry out business trips
