The Department of Clinical and Administrative Pharmacy is seeking an outstanding candidate to join our faculty and provide leadership in research, instruction and service in the area of Clinical and Experimental Therapeutics (CET). This is a full time, 9-month, tenure track or tenured position at the rank of Assistant, Associate or full Professor. The proposed start date is August 1, 2019.
The primary duties of the faculty member will be to participate as a member of the graduate faculty, run an active, extramurally-funded, laboratory-based research program and contribute to the education of professional pharmacy and graduate students.
The University of Georgia, a land-grant and sea-grant university with statewide commitments and responsibilities is the state’s oldest, most comprehensive and most diversified institution of higher education. The Augusta program is located on the site of the Augusta University Health System Campus, including AU Medical Center and The Children’s Hospital of Georgia. This campus has colleges of medicine, nursing and other health care training programs. Augusta is ideally situated near the Savannah River on the border of Georgia and South Carolina, 100 miles from the main University of Georgia campus and within easy access to coastal areas, and mountains.
Minimum Qualifications: Terminal degree appropriate for the discipline.
Additional Requirements: Candidates must have a PharmD or PhD degree plus at least two years of fellowship/post-doctoral training. Candidate should also show evidence of a research record commensurate with rank.

To be eligible for tenure upon appointment, candidates must be appointed as an associate or full professor, have been tenured at a prior institution, and bring a demonstrably national reputation to the institution. Candidates must be approved for tenure upon appointment before hire.
Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to those with expertise in vascular biology.
