Salary: Grade 6: £28,660 - £34,189 p.a.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated research nurse with an interest in heart failure to be involved with an exciting study into dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM). You will lead the GO-DCM study in collaboration with the Principle Investigator for the Oxford University site. Your role will include the identification of potential participants for study enrolment, coordination of study visits, informed consent, accurate clinical data collection and management, sample collection, safe/accurate sample processing and timely follow-up
You will work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary study team to ensure the effective delivery of a high standard of nursing care for all study participants/clinical patients within the department of OCMR and the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine.
You will need to be a registered nurse: entry on part 1 (adult) of the NMC register. (PIN number and entry date, plus revalidation date to be stated within application). You will also need to be educated to degree level or equivalent experience. Evidence of training and competency in venepuncture and cannulation would be desirable.
This is a full-time appointment based at the University of Oxford Centre for Clinical Magnetic Resonance Research (OCMR), John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford. This post is available immediately for 3 years.
