Our laboratory (Research Unit in Functional Genomics of Mitochondria, headed by Dr. Fabiana Perocchi) is interested in characterizing mitochondrial signal transduction cascades that occur in response to physiological and pathophysiological stimuli. We develop experimental and computational strategies to predict, test, and reverse the effects of genetic and chemical perturbations on several mitochondrial functions. To this goal, we combine genomics, proteomics, and metabolomics approaches with traditional genetic, biochemical, and physiological techniques applied to yeast, mouse models, human cell lines and patient samples.Research Technician, MTA/BTA (m/f/d)
