Tianjin University (TJU) – School of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology (SPST) is a premier international program in China actively mixing eastern and western talents. SPST seeks Pharma-Drug Development experts, independent of origin, to help further its major initiative in pharmaceutical sciences for Drug Innovation and Development.
SPST has ongoing research programs targeting major unmet global medical needs including infectious diseases, cancer and metabolic diseases such as type 2 diabetes mellitus. The current faculty recruitment is intended to bolster our research capabilities in these areas, as well as to strengthen and diversify the educational opportunities available to our students. To this end, we are seeking qualified candidates in the fields of pharmacology and medical microbiology for full time faculty positions at SPST.
SPST is building a world-class school of basic medical science comprising global talent, a cosmopolitan environment and state-of-the-art infrastructure. SPST is housed in the newly renovated building 24 of the main Tianjin campus and outfitted for the highest international standard of modern pharmaceutical science research.
SPST runs English-based research, teaching and internal administrative activities. Student recruitment at the graduate (MS and PhD) level is internationally competitive; and, the undergraduate program provides top class instruction in English accessible to an international and Chinese student body. Junior and senior scholars with a demonstrated high level of excellence in research and dedication to teaching in English are encouraged to join us.
In 2014, SPST introduced the symposium format for recruitment at TJU through the Symposium on Future Directions in Modern Pharmaceutical Science. Now, SPST announces a call for faculty applications to participate in our 2019 recruitment Symposium to be held April 26th, 2019.
