Scope of the project:
We offer an exciting position in the field of tumor immunology in a highly clinically relevant research area. The focus of the group Immunopharmacology (head: Mr. PD Dr. S. Kobold and Mr. Prof. Dr. S. Endres) is the development of new anti-tumoral immunotherapies (Division of Clinical Pharmacology).
The successful candidate will be responsible for self-employed execution of experiments, the processing of patient samples and the laboratory organization that includes the ordering of reagents, the breeding of mouse lines and the methodically teaching of doctoral students. The lab uses a wide variety of molecular biological approaches and methods: cell culture, real time PCR, western blotting, ELISA and FACS as well as mice experiments (genotyping, tumor models, extracting of bone marrow and spleen). A detailed training is guaranteed in all areas.
We are looking for highly motivated applicants (technical, bachelor or master degree in biochemistry or related field) with precise working method and very good organization skills who like to work in a team. The suitable candidate should have good skills in molecular biology, immunology and cell culture. The willingness to work with mice is a prerequisite. Fluency in English is mandatory.
Starting from February 1st 2019 we offer a technical assistant position for one year with the possibility of extension for two more years. The salary is based on the German public service scale (TV-L) taking into account the candidate’s background and experience.
