As German Research Center for Environmental Health, Helmholtz Zentrum München pursues the goal of developing personalized medical approaches for the prevention and therapy of major common diseases such as diabetes mellitus, allergies and lung diseases. To achieve this, it investigates the interaction of genetics, environmental factors and lifestyle.
The Helmholtz Pioneer Campus (HPC) is an innovation campus with a startup culture, founded and funded by the Helmholtz Zentrum München. HPC stands for the smart fusion of biomedical sciences, engineering and digitization in a research environment that has no parallel in Europe.Helmholtz Pioneer Campus - Administrative position with a focus on "Finances" (f/m/d) Full-time/Part-time
You independently handle and solve a variety of general administrative topics for our continuously growing scientific teams and the HPC management. You proactively support the implementation and further development of a modern administrative infrastructure including digital processes for documentation and communication.
Within the focus ‘Finances’ you are responsible for the accurate and reliable tracking of all HPC financial funds in accordance with the Helmholtz Zentrum München governing principles. In the course of this responsibility you prepare regular (monthly & annual) budget reports and are the first contact for HPC scientists in all financial matters.
You are an experienced office manager/in and/or hold a degree in business administration (B. sc.), or other equivalent qualification(s). You are working independently, reliably, and goal-oriented with a proactive professional attitude. You are proficient in general accounting principles, business fluent in English and German (written and spoken) and have excellent MS office skills. You have exceptional organizational skills, appreciate working as part of a team, and are able to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with people of diverse hierarchy level and cultural backgrounds.

The Helmholtz Pioneer Campus, only founded in 2017, will be moving into its own research building with approximately 20 teams (a total of 150 scientists) in 2022.

Remuneration and beneﬁts are in accordance with the collective agreement for the public service (TV EntgO Bund). The position is suitable to work part-time (min. 19.5 hours/week). The post is initially limited to two years, with the option of a longer-term perspective.
