Salary: Grade 7: £32,236 £39,609 p.a.
The Clinical Ophthalmology Research Group is seeking a highly-motivated team member to contribute to ongoing commercial collaborations for the support and development of clinical trials into new treatments of blindness.
You will have a biosciences postgraduate degree (preferably a PhD) with a background in molecular genetics or cell biology. Prior experience of interventional clinical trials for retinal disease or previous work with murine or cellular models of retinal disease would be advantageous. We are looking for a highly qualified individual with outstanding academic credentials and an excellent publication record, who can work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a milestone-orientated research environment.
The post is full-time, for a fixed-term until the 31 January 2020 (1 year) in the first instance.
A less experienced candidate may be appointed at Grade 6 (£28,660 £34,189 p.a.) with a commensurate adjustment in essential criteria, responsibilities and duties.
