Salary: Grade A63 or A67: £32,478 - £57,444 p.a. dependent on qualifications and experience, in line with current pay protection and transitional arrangements in the NHS
Applications are invited for the above post in the Nuffield Division of Clinical Laboratory Sciences, which offers full clinical training with additional training opportunities for developing a career in medical education or research. As well as making a substantial contribution to the clinical work of the department, the Clinical Lecturer will be responsible for the coordination and development of Microbiology teaching for year 4 medical students and will also engage in research, with 50% protected time for academic work.
This is a fixed-term post (for 4 years or until CCT, whichever is sooner) which offers excellent opportunities to undertake high quality research and teaching within a clinically excellent environment, and to work towards gaining a CCT.
Applicants should be medically qualified, ST3 and above, have full GMC registration and will have demonstrated ability and commitment to teaching and research, as well as outstanding skills in oral and written scientific and clinical communication.
The post will be based in the Nuffield Division of Clinical Laboratory Sciences, Radcliffe Department of Medicine, JR Hospital, OX3 9DU.
