As the Post-Doctoral Fellow, you will contribute to the National Health and Medical Research Council funded research program on the genetics of cardiovascular disease by participating in consulting and research activities including contributing to the School’s research administration and developing and maintaining an active research profile in the area of Biomedical Sciences.
As the successful applicant, you will also have demonstrated research experience in biochemistry, genetics, molecular biology, physiology or a related science as well as preparedness to undertake research and a capacity to develop an active research profile. You will also have well developed interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to relate well with research partners and stakeholders and be able to work collegially in a research team.

The salary is within the Academic Level A6 to A8 range $83,565 to $89,701 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.
Appointments will normally be at the base of the salary range.
