You should hold a PhD in synthetic organic chemistry, supramolecular chemistry or a related area (or near completion prior to taking up the appointment). The candidate should have extensive expertise in multi-step organic synthesis and characterisation of complex molecules. The candidate should have experience in organic chemistry and experience in supramolecular chemistry would also be desirable. You will be expected to manage your own academic research and administrative activities, to supervise other team and lab activities when asked and to coordinate work to meet specified deadlines.

The post will be based in the Chemistry Research Laboratory, 12 Mansfield Road, OX1 3TA and is available from 1 April 2019, or as soon as possible thereafter.
