The Medical Faculty of the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University of Bonn invites applications for the position of
Full Professor for Neuroradiology
to be filled as soon as possible.
The professorship is a tenured W3 position. The responsibilities of the position include research, teaching and clinical work in the area of Neuroradiology. The Full Professor will be appointed Director of the newly established Department of Neuroradiology in the Neurocenter of the University Hospital Bonn.
We are in search for a high-profile candidate with an international reputation, who has demonstrated an outstanding academic record and an internationally recognized research program in the area of Neuroradiology. Additional experience with advanced cross sectional imaging and interventional Neuroradiology is preferred.
Close collaboration with the Clinical Departments and Institutes of the University Hospital Bonn, the Neurocenter and the Radiology is expected, particularly, in the areas of innovative imaging modalities of neurooncological, neurodegenerative, epileptological, psychiatric and neurovascular diseases. The further development of the interventional Neuroradiology in cooperation with the Clinics of Neurology, Neurosurgery and Epileptology will be an additional central target.
Applicants must have completed training in Neuroradiology, must be board certified Neuroradiologists (Schwerpunktbezeichnung Neuroradiologie) and hold a habilitation or demonstrate equivalent scientific achievements according to § 36 Hochschulgesetz NRW.
