You’re contributing to the development of beam-based systems for monitoring and control of the FAIR accelerator complex.
QualificationsMS degree or PhD in a related discipline (instrumentation and control, software engineering, computing, computer science, applied physics, or equivalent).Experience with data analysis and digital signal processing.Experience in modern software techniques; sound knowledge of OO principles and software patterns. Demonstrated experience in design and development of modern, multi-layered, distributed software systems.Experience in the development of Java/C++-based software projects.

The position is initially limited to a term of 5 years. Salary is equivalent to that for public employees as specified in the collective agreement for public employees (TVöD Bund).
