Northwestern University seeks a post doctoralfellow to participate in cutting-edge research in transplant/ tumor immunobiology. The post doctoralfellow must commit to a minimum of 2-3 years in the lab.

Principal Accountabilities
To conduct laboratory experiments using immunological and molecular techniques including but not limited to immunosustaining/histochemistry, flow-cytometry, ELISA, western blot, PCR, Mixed and cytolyticassays, tissue culture, transfection, animal husbandry and basic murine procedures
To help write grants and compete for funding
To help write and contribute to publications resulting from research done in the lab

Minimum Qualifications: (Education, experience, and any other certifications or clearances)
PhD or MD with a background in immunological sciences or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience from which comparable skills can be acquired skills in immunological and molecular techniques including but not limited to immunostaining/ histochemistry, flow-cytometry, ELISA, western blot, PCR, Mixed and cytolyticassays, tissue culture, transfection, animal husbandry and basic murine procedures

Minimum Competencies:(Skills, knowledge, and abilities.)
Must have good computer skills, including knowledge of how to use excel
Good language and writing skills
Creative thinking and independently develop project.

Preferred Qualifications:
Immunology background and experiences
Mouse research experience

Preferred Competencies
Mouse surgery & In vivo imaging experiences
