A position is available for a highly motivated Postdoc in the Laboratory of Cancer Epigenetics headed by Prof.
François Fuks (University of Brussels – ULB).
You will be expected to conduct cancer research in epigenetics and epigenomics. Specifically you will
investigate the mechanisms and functions of novel epigenetic modifications, which our lab recently highlighted
(Delatte et al., Science 2016). Genetic, biochemical, biological and genome-wide approaches (e.g. RNA-Seq,
ChIP-Seq, Infinium Methylation) will be applied. The lab runs a Next-Gen Sequencing platform, and is part ofthe U-CRC (http://ucrc.ulb.be/), providing a high profile scientific environment.
Applicants should hold a PhD degree (or have recently submitted their thesis) in Molecular Biology, Biology,Biochemistry. Experience in epigenetics and/or cancer would be an asset. The position is funded for 3 years.
Screening of applications begins immediately and continues until an outstanding candidate is selected. Skype interviews are possible for candidates outside Belgium. Flexible starting date.
