As German Research Center for Environmental Health, Helmholtz Zentrum München pursues the goal of developing personalized medical approaches for the prevention and therapy of major common diseases such as diabetes mellitus, allergies and lung diseases. To achieve this, it investigates the interaction of genetics, environmental factors and lifestyle.

Job Descriptionadministration, installation, configuration and monitoring of network components such as router, switches and overarching technologies e.g. WLANmonitoring of services and network infrastructureplanning and implementation of network nodesresponsibility for independent realization of IT-network projects future development of the network standard and contribution to construction projects (planning phase) at the centersupport of VoIP telecommunications systems and firewall technology such as Cisco ASA and Checkpoint
Your Qualificationsuniversity degree in a technical field, e.g. informatics, or comparable technical qualificationprofound knowledge in operating of complex network infrastructures (LAN/WLAN), preferably based on components of Cisco and Alcatel, as well as practical experience in the field of routing and switchingexperience with standard IT services and processesexcellent analytical skills, high willingness for continued education, ability to work in a teams and service orientationfluent knowledge of the German language will be beneficial, where as indispensable good command of English in spoken and writtenoptional CCNA-Certificate (ideally CCNP) or equivalent training in Alcatel technology
