Salary: Grade 6: £28,660 - £34,189 p.a.
This is a technical position to develop, optimise, validate and perform immunohistochemistry assays on cancer clinical trial samples for research purposes. In addition, general laboratory tasks including sample logging/retrieval and laboratory maintenance will be required. An Honorary NHS Contract will be required for this role.
A BSc or equivalent, in a biological science is essential for this role, along with experience of IHC, paraffin embedding and sectioning, automated staining and analysis techniques. You will need relevant laboratory experience and a willingness to work with human tissue and blood samples (occasional work with animal tissue will also be required).
