Principal Investigator in Signalling and Cell Regulation

The Babraham Institute has embarked on a new recruitment programme which provides exciting opportunities for both established and junior Principal Investigators to join us in Cambridge. The Institute carries out internationally leading science organised into programmes in immunology, epigenetics and signalling with relevance to human health and ageing. Our aim is to provide increasingly integrated molecular explanations for signalling and epigenetic mechanisms that regulate important biological processes including immunity, development, autophagy, ageing and cellular senescence.

We would like to make two appointments to enhance the signalling programme. We would welcome applications from established or tenure-track Principal Investigators and from postdocs with or without a fellowship.

Cross-programme appointments are also possible depending on the science area. Appointed colleagues will be expected to be proactive and progressive supporters of equality and diversity. The appointments will come with a competitive salary and research package as well as access to cutting-edge core facilities.

We welcome informal enquiries to Michael Wakelam (Institute Director), Len Stephens (Signalling Programme) Martin Turner (Lymphocyte Signalling and Development Programme) and Wolf Reik (Epigenetics Programme).

Applications should include a CV, a description of research experience and an outline of future research plans. The latter two documents should be uploaded as the ‘Personal Statement’ and ‘Additional Documents’ on the application form.
