Marshfield Clinic Research Institute (MCRI), Wisconsin’s largest private medical research organization, is introducing a new postdoctoral fellowship position within the Institute. The Frank R. and Betty J. Koller Postdoctoral Fellowship is a 2-year appointment designed to facilitate development of an independent research portfolio. In addition to salary support, the fellowship provides $3,000 for training and career development activities.
1.Doctoral level degree in field related to anticipated work at MCRI must be awarded by the expected start date of the fellowship.
2.Applicants are required to be mentor-matched with a tenured or tenure track MCRI scientist prior to applying and must be nominated by their proposed mentor.
3.Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. and employment offer may be contingent upon approval of H1B visa, when applicable.
Training and career development opportunities available include scientific seminars, grant writing workshops, access to competitive internal grant application, journal club presentations, national/regional conference attendance, and medical Grand Rounds.
MCRI has formal collaborations with the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is supported by National Institute of Health (NCATS and NLM) to provide additional educational and training opportunities to incoming postdoctoral fellows.
