The laboratory of Fuzheng Guo, PhD, is seeking 2 highly motivated and creative postdoctoral researchers. The laboratory is located at the Department of Neurology, UC Davis School of Medicine (https://www.ucdmc.ucdavis.edu/neurology/faculty/) and the Institute for Pediatric Regenerative Medicine (IPRM) of Shriners Hospitals for Children, Northern California (http://www.iprmd.org/). Current research interest in the Guo laboratory centers on the molecular mechanisms of glial cell development and regeneration in the central nervous system, with a particular focus on oligodendroglial and astroglial cells.
The successful candidates must have desire to succeed, and are expected to have at least one first-authored paper in well-known journals. Prior experience of transgenic mouse models and animal behavior test is required. Expertise of electrophysiology is advantageous.
