DESY at its Zeuthen location near Berlin is a leading center for astroparticle physics with a focus on gamma-ray and neutrino astronomy, and the development of new detectors and detection technologies for future astroparticle physics experiments.The activities of the Theory Group at Zeuthen include: phenomenology and quantum field theory of high energy processes at HERA, LHC and ILC and computer algebra.

Ph.D. in physics or astronomyExperience with modelling of particle acceleration and propagationExperience with numerical and analytical studies of plasma processes in magnetized mediumGood command of English
