Postdoctoral Researcher - DNA Damage and Ubiquitylation

Salary: Grade 7: £32,236 - £39,609 p.a.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Postdoctoral Researcher to join Dr Vincenzo D’Angiolella’s group at CRUK/MRC Oxford Institute for Radiation Oncology, University of Oxford. The primary focus of this project is to identify novel signalling mechanisms of ubiquitylation in the DNA damage response mediated by E3 ubiquitin ligases.

You will have a PhD (or be working towards) in the study of DNA damage response, ubiquitin signalling and/or DNA replication stress and, publication/s in internationally recognised journals. You will have experience in laboratory management, scientific training and supervising and, basic molecular biology techniques. Relevant experience in studying the DNA damage response and some experience in Mass Spectrometry and CRISPR technologies would be advantageous.

This is a full-time post offered for 3 years in the first instance.
