Two- three-year bench research fellowship investigating interactions among hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular disease and genetics is available at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School. This is a laboratory-based program focused on molecular and cellular mechanisms to assess the genetic underpinnings of hormonal mechanisms of cardiovascular disease. There are opportunities to interact with clinical scientists focused on these same areas in this translational research training program. This position is ideally suited for those interested in a career in bench research in Endocrinology, Cardiology and/or Nephrology. Candidates should have a PhD or M.D/PhD. and be a US citizen or permanent resident. This training program has been supported by an NIH Training Grant since 1974. Salaries are based on the current NIH stipend levels.
