Associate Research Scientist and postdoctoral research scientist positions in the Division of Molecular Genetics in the Department of Pediatrics immediately available to participate in the conduct of studies on the molecular genetics of congenital diaphragmatic hernia, congenital heart disease, neurodevelopmental disorders, and breast cancer. Applicants should have experience in analysis of next generation sequence data including exome/genome sequencing, RNA sequencing, ATAC-seq, cell culture, and transient transfection. Experience in molecular biological techniques such as polymerase chain reaction, genotyping, sequencing, real time PCR, Northern blots, Western blots, and immunohistochemistry preferred.
Applicants should have a PhD or MD/PhD and at least 2-3 years post doctoral experience, excellent oral and written communication skills, advanced organizational skills, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently.
