Assistant Professor in Dynamic Lipidomics

An assistant professor position is available for two years from 15 January 2019 in the laboratory of Associate Professor Christer Ejsing, situated at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Southern Denmark.

We investigate the molecular underpinnings of functional regulation of global lipid metabolism using state-of-the-art lipidomics and (phospho)proteomics techniques (see Casanovas et al. Chem. Biol. 2015, Ellis et al. Nature Methods, 2018).

We are seeking an outstanding, highly motivated lipid biochemist to join the team to share responsibilities in supervision of students and personnel, teaching as well as seeking external funding. The successful applicant can carry out research at a high international standard, documented by a publication record in high-quality international journals.
