A postdoctoral position is available immediately to work under general supervision of the Principal Investigator conducting research on projects in tumor immunology and immunotherapy, and molecular biology of cancer. The research is aimed at determining the regulation of tumor microenvironment and its impact on anti-tumor immunity as well as examining the role of inflammatory molecules in growth and development of cancer.
The applicant should have Ph.D. in Cancer Immunology, Cancer Biology, Molecular/Cell Biology or other related field of biomedical sciences; should be self-motivated, able to design and conduct experiments, prepare and present their work at meetings, and write scientific manuscripts; should have skill in setting up and use of laboratory equipment, and ability to assist with development of new and improved methodology. The applicant is expected to train students/technologists when necessary. Prior experience with in vivo studies or experience in mouse models related to prostate cancer is a plus.
The salary will be considered at the entry level commensurate with the NIH scale.
