The Department of Neurobiology and Anatomy at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty appointment in the area of brain aging or neurodegenerative diseases. We encourage applications from candidates who employ novel approaches to explore areas at the level of cellular and molecular mechanisms and/or neural circuits in vivo. Applications at both junior and senior levels will be considered, with rank dependent on experience and qualifications. We are located within the Texas Medical Center and its very rich and collaborative neuroscience community including Baylor College of Medicine, Rice University and the University of Houston.
Individuals will be expected to develop a strong, independent research program and contribute to our departmental teaching mission.
