Are you a dedicated, enthusiastic, and talented early stage scientist or a principal investigator with established research programmes in the broad area of immunology and inflammation science? If so, would you like to join our Division of Inflammation and Immunology on these exciting academic opportunities and expand our world-class research portfolio? You will be building on existing research themes including autoimmunity, renal and vascular inflammation, complement biology, cell signalling, transcriptional regulation, immunometabolism, tumour immunology and developing new research initiatives.
Imperial College has a broad range of clinical and non-clinical research expertise which provides an outstanding multidisciplinary environment in basic, clinical and translational research. The Division is embedded within this vibrant research environment and is proud of its supportive ethos and coordinated activities in research, teaching and public engagement.
We seek to develop a multi-disciplinary group (either clinical or non-clinical) with interfaces between the fields below but other relevant interests will also be considered:
- Innate immunity
- In vivo models of inflammation
- Tissue repair
- Kidney inflammation
- Macrophage biology
- Tumour immunology
- Development of novel therapy
- Cell Signalling
To excel in this group, you will be developing, or depending on the level, you will have a national and/or an international reputation and a record of excellent research in your field. You will also have a proven track record of grant awards and publications, commensurate with the level of appointment.
