Your Job:Methods development for the characterization of electrolyte/electrode interfaces in Lithium-ion batteries Development of an in-situ cell for optical spectroscopy (e.g. IR/Raman/UV-VIS) Electrochemical characterization of cell components including electrolytes Mechanistic study on the processes of the electrode / electrolyte interfaces Documentation and publication of results in scientific journals and at international conferences Supervision of graduate and undergraduate students
Your Profile:Graduate of a university with excellent academic degree and subsequent doctorate in chemistry, materials science or a related discipline Strong background in optical spectroscopy (IR/Raman) Good manual skills Basic knowledge of electrochemistry Good written and oral communication skills in German and English Willingness to supervise undergraduate students is desired Pronounced ability to cooperate with internal and external partners Ability and willingness for team work, flexibility and self-motivation
