Your Job:

Synthesis of advanced polymer electrolytes for Lithium ion batteries and design of new synthesis routes for polymers Optimization of the synthesis approach Development of an understanding of structure-property relationships in functional materials Characterization of samples with electrochemical and physicochemical methods including spectroscopic analysis (such as Raman, IR, solid- and liquid state NMR, etc.)

Your Profile:

Excellent university degree in chemistry, physics, polymer science or a related discipline Strong background of synthetic organic chemistry, preferably polymer chemistry Basic knowledge of electrochemistry Some proficiency in German or the willingness to acquire basic German skills and fluent language skills in English Ability to work in an international and interdisciplinary team
