UCSF Anti-Aging and Rejuvenation Institute in the School of Medicine – Associate/Full Professor
The Department of Anatomy at the University of California San Francisco seeks outstanding candidates, for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the Associate or Full Professor level to lead the newly galvanized Anti-Aging and Rejuvenation Institute. Candidates must have a PhD, MD or equivalent degree, and hold an exceptional research portfolio with an active interest in the biology of aging field. The successful candidate will possess a bold vision for the future of aging research, and have the skills to lead a growing group of UCSF researchers in the field of aging. Essential to the position is the ability to set the direction for expanding the Anti-Aging and Rejuvenation Institute, and participate in institutional fundraising efforts. Applicants with a strong publication record in any area of aging research, including immunology, metabolism, stem cell biology, genomics, epigenetics, senescence and lifespan regulation are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will become a member of the Biomedical Sciences (BMS) graduate research program and will participate in professional and graduate student teaching. Salary and appointment rank will be commensurate with the applicant’s accomplishments.
