Simons ESAT Fellow
Applications are invited from scientifically qualified candidates for 3 SIDB Fellowships to be hosted by the recently established Simons Initiative for the Developing Brain (SIDB) within the Patrick Wild Centre at The University of Edinburgh. These are new tenure-track positions that will focus on establishing an independent research programme.
The successful candidates will be outstanding scientists with a proven record of research excellence to complement and enhance research into autism and related neurodevelopmental disorders. Applications will be considered from researchers with a range of expertise from molecular biology/genetics to cellular and circuit physiology to behaviour.

Subject to a satisfactory formal review at the end of year four, the post-holder will then move to a standard University academic open-ended contract at the end of year five.
Appointments at Senior Lecturer level will be considered for suitably qualified candidates.
