The Nectow laboratory at the Princeton Neuroscience Institute is looking for a few motivated and talented postdoctoral or more senior research associates. The lab studies the neurobiology of energy balance (i.e. appetite and energy expenditure) using state-of-the-art imaging, molecular, and functional techniques in mice.
We are currently looking for exceptional candidates with a strong background in neuroscience, particularly with expertise in molecular and behavioral neuroscience.
Essential qualifications for these positions include: a Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Biology, or a closely related field; a strong background working with mice; experience with advanced techniques in neuroscience (such as optogenetics/chemogenetics, stereotactic rodent surgery, electrophysiology, microscopy, histology, and/or molecular profiling).
The term of appointment is one year, with the possibility of renewal based on satisfactory performance and funding.
